PROJECT BACKGROUND
While many people have very little knowledge of a cappella music and beatboxing, some of them may have learned a bit about the movie “Pitch Perfect”.
PROJECT CONCEPT
I intend to advocate the culture of beatboxing and a cappella music through this project: 1) to showcase how we can create music by beatboxing; 2) to let the audience enjoy the mood the music creates, whether it sounds lo-fi or like EDM; and 3) most importantly, to let the audience understand music could be created without musical instruments – so that they will widen their horizons on the possibilities of beatboxing and a cappella singing.
