Trusty Busk
PROJECT BACKGROUND
Compared with mainstream groups, street performers are currently disadvantaged because they often suffer from unequal treatment due to a lack of competitiveness and certain environmental factors. In particular, street performers who engage in cultural activities are unable to give full play to this society or be treated equally. As a result, street performers often have a low social status. Although street performers may not be in the lowest level of society or live below the poverty line, they are still grossly underpaid, especially when compared with dominant groups, e.g. those who work in the business field or other professional groups.
PROJECT CONCEPT
This project focuses on hosting a singing competition with promotional design applications. It does not only promote the busking organization but also tries to identify outstanding buskers (especially those who have won competitions in the past) by assisting them to apply for valid licenses and permits so that they can do street performances in a legal manner.
