BA (Hons) Jewellery and Metalwork
This degree is designed to provide students with specialist education in jewellery and metalwork design and creative practice. Through gaining hands-on interaction with materials and processes, students will be well-prepared for employment in the creative industry. The programme will help develop the students' own creative practice through working in a supportive specialist studio learning environment, through which they will learn to identify and solve problems in jewellery and metalwork as well as other design industries. The programme also has a strong vocational focus that encourages innovation and creativity. As the students learn through exploration and experimenting with ideas and materials, they will develop their own personal line of enquiry through critical reflections.
