Blue Blood

PROJECT BACKGROUND

The term 'blue blood’ was once used to describe rich and powerful families. Nowadays, this term is used to describe people with superior status. To me, there should not be hierarchy, sexism, and racial discrimination. Everyone has ‘blue blood’, as every human life is a priceless work of art. The collection is designed for those who are intelligent and self-assured. The fabric and silhouette designs reflected the message I want to express. For example, the pleats represent gender symbols while the waves represent DNA patterns. The big collar and exaggerated silhouette bring out an image of being elegant and confident. You may not recognize it from first sight, as the idea has been merged into the design rather than being emphasized as a standalone item.
