PROJECT BACKGROUND

The term 'defective products' normally refers to incomplete and unfinished parts or things that are considered imperfect. In my work, defective products could include damaged machines, broken walls, or even people with physical disabilities or congenital deformities as commonly perceived by the society. My design mainly focuses on putting these “broken” parts together, which symbolizes the revitalization of inconsistent and fragmentary elements through fabric reconstruction. I believe that only when things are used will their intrinsic value be revealed.
