PROJECT BACKGROUND

This graduation collection breaks away from the tradition and embraces the avant-garde. Although the design adopts bright, fascinating colors and elements, it is nonetheless eerie, leading the audience into my whimsical world full of weird aesthetics. This collection aims to raise people’s awareness of patients who are suffering from mental illnesses and emotional distress. Patients with schizophrenia and PTSD will often have hallucinations and nightmares. I have used red, blue, and purple to represent the pain and stress from being on the verge of emotional collapse.
