Share

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Besides solving the housing problem in Hong Kong, co-living also creates a sense of community to build bonding among people of all ages and enhances the quality of living and psychological connection between the youth & elderly. The selected site is at the intersection of Tung Chau St and Yen Chow St in West Kowloon.

PROJECT CONCEPT

“Bonding” is the main concept of the co-living space, in which the joined space between buildings provides a communal area for efficient vertical communication. The combination of solid and void in space are fused to form shared areas to let people “BOND” with one another and create a better life together.
