PROJECT BACKGROUND
DES4004 Final Year Project We have to design an outfit that suits Studio 54 - a nightclub where wealthy celebrities love to go. It is a significant representation of clubbing culture in the 70s. Studio 54 is all about glamour, where people would wear eye-catching outfits in order to see and be seen.
PROJECT CONCEPT
My design concept is about the Japanese Geisha culture with an extravagant mood presented by the Kintsugi art, which represents the beauty of imperfection. Even though no one is perfect, they can still be attractive and glamorous. Gold is the important color in my design to present Kintsugi.
