Eat in Moderation
PROJECT BACKGROUND
People are getting more aware of food safety and health. In the old days, Chinese people used to eat seasonal food and live in moderation, which formed a connection between health and nature. The market sells what is needed, and more of the goods in high demand will be produced. While the market is a reflection of our food culture nowadays, the linkage between ‘food’ and ‘season’ seems to be disconnected due to greenhouse and industrial farming. A community about local farm vegetables, Chinese medicine, and farm-to-table restaurants would help to re-promote and educate people to eat in moderation and in a healthier way.
