Share listeners life through Spotify
Spotify listeners love to curate their own playlists, share recommendations with friends, and listen to their favorite artists’ and celebrities’ recommendations. As the users of Spotify do this day in and day out, they have developed their own public identity while discovering others’. This project aims to investigate how Spotify can make the listening experience a more social habit by enabling people to share the songs that mean the most to them.
Inspired by the idea of tuning forks with the same frequency, the new feature of Resonance helps users to look for “songmates” with similar tastes in music. The program consists of two parts, namely Near and World. Users can search for their songmates using different location filters. We hope more people will become connected through the music they love and seize the touching moments of resonance without boundaries.
