To cope with the rapid development of the digital entertainment industry in Hong Kong and Asia, this programme aims to equip students with practical knowledge and skill to become professionals in the design and development of computer games, computer animation, and visual effects. This is also a unique programme in which students will be able to access cutting-edge computer systems and software technologies in order to realise their creative ideas for the production of digital entertainment products. The computer game stream is designed with modules to develop the graduates’ competencies in applying techniques in computer graphics programming for developing interactive games and training simulation applications. The computer animation stream consists of modules to enable graduates to become professional computer animators in serving the growing market of computer games, animated feature films, television, and visual effects productions. This programme is designed with an emphasis on generic concepts, language training, whole-person development, and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.
