Most of the people in Hong Kong have a hectic lifestyle. As many people are busy working every day, they do not have enough time for leisure and rest. Recent studies have shown that public spaces have a strong connection with the quality of life, whereas the quality of public spaces will affect our living standards and how people feel about the city. In Hong Kong, people are not familiar with public spaces, in which even local people do not know the locations of some public spaces that are open for everyone.
Chill Out! is held in a public space on a Sunday in Yuen Long. Photo booths will be set up, and the event will be promoted on social media platforms. It targets young people aged between 18–23 years old. Since it is an event open for all, everyone including passersby can join. Souvenirs such as stickers, comic books, and tote bags will be prepared for people who join the event.
