Time Traveller
PROJECT BACKGROUND
Inspired by the technological development of functional garments, the theme of my work is “time traveler”. By integration the concept of protective gear in my design, I hope to change people’s lifestyles. Most importantly, I hope that by wearing my design, people can keep themselves safe while remaining fashionable during the time of COVID-19.
PROJECT CONCEPT
I am interested in historical fashion as well as Sci-fi movies. This collection was inspired by punk rock music as it influenced the punk fashion styles and youth culture in the 70s. My design has integrated punk design details such as raw edges, rips, statements, and denim in a modern fashion. Meanwhile, futuristic elements like electric wires and led light bars are my decorative ideas.
