This is a pop-style song that combined both Japanese with Taiwanese arrangements. It renders an atmosphere of helplessness and intermittence by fundamental timbres with strings and piano. The rock-style guitar solo with the strings is applied to shape the interaction among individuals in the community. The song arrangement embodies different mental states of the protagonist.
I was inspired by Ken Hirai’s ‘Hitomi o Tojite’, which highlights the sorrow of the protagonist who was waiting for someone, which definitely resembles my song. Meanwhile, the arrangement of the strings part was influenced by Hu Xia’s ‘Those bygone years’.
