Let’s See
PROJECT BACKGROUND
Through my research, I discovered that dyslexia is a serious problem in Hong Kong. However, our society lacks a solution to prescribe the right medicine for this illness. The most effective way is to improve their abilities instead of lowering the requirements for them. Therefore, my project is very important, as it can help educators to teach dyslexic children more effectively while strengthening their learning ability.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The project studies the cognition ability of dyslexics in graphic forms and composition levels. A customized typeface is developed for more effective reading and legibility. The feeling of Let’s See is comfortable, toy-like, free, and energetic. I also chose three bright colors and two colors that are not with the highest contrast. I understand that if the contrast in color is too high, it would be more difficult for dyslexic children to read.
