With over 130,000 Filipinos living in Hong Kong, knowing and understanding one’s background and culture is vital in harmonious co-existence. Compared with other countries, Hong Kong locals are still unfamiliar with the culture of the Philippines. This project aims to exhibit a glimpse of the Philippines and its wonders.
Luzviminda consists of three booklets that have their own topics about the Philippines and its culture. The contents will be inside a horizontal portrait that can slide in and out of the frame. While each being a standalone art piece, the cover of each booklet can form the map of the Philippines. This project aims to appeal to Hong Kong locals aged 19 – 25.
